BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Engr. Nolan R. Diaz – President and Chairman of the board
Our president & Chairman of the board Engr. Nolan Diaz, held various executive positions in several companies before becoming General manager of Zana Holding’s subsidiary, St. Francis Memorial Homes. Under his leadership, St. Francis Memorial Homes grew from a small single office operation to a multiple branch operation with offices in key areas in Cebu and Negros Island. Engr. Nolan Diaz holds the degree of Bachelor Mechanical Engineering from the University of San Jose Recoltes and has an Master’s degree in Business Administration (Lacking thesis) from the University of San Carlos. He is also a graduate of Christian leadership at the Haggai Institute. Aside from being the President & Chairman of the board of Zana Holdings, Engr. Nolan Diaz is also actively involved in other business activities. He is also an active member of the Rotary Club of Talisay, Gideons International Cebu North Camp. An active member and Deacon of the Bible Baptist Church of Cebu, Engr. Nolan Diaz is also the director of the Philippine Inland & Island Missions. He regularly preaches in churches and is heard every Sunday in AM radio in the program “Fruitful Harvest ministries” at DYSS 999 khz.
Atty. Zigfred Diaz – Vice President for Operations
Zigfred Diaz began with the company serving as assistant to the H.R director of Zana Holdings Subsidiary, St. Francis Memorial Homes in 1998. Sometime in 2000, he took over the management of St. Francis Memorial Homes and eventually ended up running the day to day operations of the entire group. He started started to organized the corporate structure of the company and was instrumental in creating Zana Holdings Inc. which served as the holding company of all the business interest of the Diaz family.
Being a lawyer, from time to time he engages in law practice and is also teaching law subjects in two universities. He also sits in the board of a small pharmaceutical distribution start-up.
He graduated with a degree in industrial engineering from the Cebu Institute of Technology and has a bachelor’s of law degree from the Southwestern University School of Law. He is currently pursuing his MBA degree.
Being a prolific writer he has co-authored a popular 4 volume law review known as the “Lex Pareto Notes.” More information about this work can be found at www.lexparetonotes.blogspot.com. He has also authored several free ebooks. He frequently writes at his personal blog at www.zdiaz.com. He also regularly blogs about stock market investing at www.stockmarket-investing.com and manages an investment partnership.
Zigfred together with his wife ministers in a small community church called the “The Master’s Community Fellowship.” His wife has founded the “Train a child ministry“, an outreach ministry whose mission is to give free lifeskills education to children in their community.
Mr. Aldin Diaz – Vice President for Marketing, Finance & Emerging businesses
Being a natural marketing person, Mr. Aldin Diaz runs most of the marketing departments of the holding company’s subsidiaries. As a natural born entrepreneur he is instrumental in seeking out new business opportunities for the group.
He started Sure Life marketing and is currently it’s Chief Executive Officer. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting management from the University Of San Carlos.
Dr. Arlene Diaz – Director
Dr. Arlene Diaz serves as a member of the board of directors. Because of the nature of her profession, she is not actively involved in the company, however being a businesswoman herself her insights in business, leadership and management has proven to be highly valuable to the board.
A medical board topnotcher, Dra. Diaz once served as Dean of Medicine in a prominent medical school. She is currently teaching medicine and is active in her medical profession. She is also currently Field director of Philippine Inland & Island Missions, a ministry outreach that frequently does free medical outreaches and missions to churches and extends medical aid to pastors and church members from various churches. Dr. Diaz also holds a Master’s degree in Education.
Ms. Norlene Diaz – Director
Ms. Norlene Diaz is a registered nurse. She holds a Master’s degree in Nursing. Being the 3rd child and the only daugther of Nolan and Arlene Diaz, she serves as one of the director int he holding company.
